The Art of Les

I apologize for the long delay in updates, but Les has been laboring on her greatest work yet. Finally on February 24, 2009 she completed this work six weeks earlier than expected. At 3:06pm on a Tuesday, Les gave birth to a son, Gabriel Thomas-Robert Dolan.

During the Holidays Les painted this commissioned piece for a patron. It was briefly on display at the Koffee Kat. She has done many commissions in the past. If there is something that you have envisioned that you would like to see on canvas, contact Les and let her unique style make what you have imagined become real.

Two New Pieces

Les just finished these yesterday. They are currently on display at the Koffee Kat. This one is called "The Journey."

This one reminds me of an indoor cat's dream of being outside. It is called "Flower Lounger."

Red Square - April 2007

This was Les' second foray to Burlington, VT. It was a very well attended show with a great opening. Les received some unexpected promotion when a patron of Red Square tried to run off with one of her paintings. I guess you could call that an unorthodox form of admiration!

Most of what is in the "Recent Works" section was made for this show. These have all been sold except for "Perpetual Adolesence." However, there is a new display at the Koffee Kat with all new works.

This is the piece he tried to steal. It is called "Late Night Black Light."

New Works on Display at the Koffe Kat

Now on display at the Koffee Kat are these new works. They include works of ink/pastel on paper, felt pen, and acrylic on canvas. There are also some works on sale for the Holidays.

These works represent some new approaches in medium and style that Les is experimenting with. This gallery is only a sample as there are 12 additional works available at the store. Look for more work soon.

Also available are a series of new handmade cards for the holidays. Take home some art for Christmas!
